Szymon Guzowski

Professor at the Academy of Music in Poznań with a post-doctoral degree in the artistic discipline - instrumental studies - double bass. Lecturer in the double bass class at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.

Soloist musician of the T.Szeligowski Poznań Philharmonic.

Finalist and laureate of many prestigious competitions and festivals both nationwide and international.

In 2013 he also completed postgraduate studies in the scope of playing the violone, Viennese double bass and viola da gamba at the Historical Instruments Department at the Music Academy in Poznań.

Decorated twice by the office of the President of the Republic of Poland.

The path of his artistic career has repeatedly crossed with world-class artists, both instrumentalists, composers, vocalists and conductors.

As a soloist and chamber musician, he collaborates with many orchestras and ensembles specializing in early, symphonic and contemporary music.
